Someday, I'll pick up my brushes again . . .

It's been a very long time since I painted this picture for my best friend. One of these days when I find time, I'll pick up my brushes again. I think my problem is I want to do so many things that there is not enough time to fit them all in. You know that thing called WORK, it just keeps getting in my way and taking up all of my time.

The only reason I have this painting back is my friend suddenly died 2 years ago from a brain aneurysm at age 44. Both Tina and her husband Marty were very close friends for about 25 years (I used to work with both of them). I knew they were meant for each other before they did. Tragically about 6 months after Tina died, Marty was killed in a motorcycle accident. I think of them almost daily but they are together again. So now with this painting hanging in my hallway, I think of them with fond memories.

  1. Sorry to hear of your loss. Whata nice way to remember them. The composition of the photograph is nice.

  2. This is a very nice photograph. I almost cried while reading your story. I am sorry for the loss of your 2 friends.
